Harrigan's Hunter Valley

Our holiday stay at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The property exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were very cozy, the amenities were modern, and everything was well thought out to make guests feel at home. The location was ideal—close enough to everything for convenience, but still tucked away in a peaceful and relaxing setting. It gave us the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility. One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitality. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always available to help with recommendations or any questions. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience, which really made a difference. We also appreciated the little touches that showed genuine care for guests—[examples: complimentary snacks or drinks, well-stocked kitchen, thoughtful décor, local guidebooks, comfortable outdoor seating area, family-friendly setup, etc.]. These details added so much value and made the stay feel special. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday accommodation. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we left with wonderful memories. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely return on our next trip.

The room size was incredible and lovely outdoor covered courtyard with chairs and table. The size of the shower awesome. The Fluffy clean plenty of towels and all the products and items for personal use. The single bed with firm mattress. The room looked luxurious with the beautifully made up beds. That there were blankets in cupboards in case of being cold. The aircon/heater. The fridge. The ironing board and iron. The hairdryer. We are sad we didn’t have a longer stay booked.

The space and view was spectacular for a family of 4. To be able to accomodate 3 sets of families in the one location was easy and awesome. Staff were lovely, venue was clean, and the pool was a bonus. The pub at the location which made finding somewhere to eat less stressful, especially with kids. Kid friendly location and decently priced for the spacious rooms we all got.

We recently stayed at Harrigans Hunter Valley. The venue location was central to everything. We chose this venue because it had accommodation, a pool and the Pub. The accommodation rooms are all at ground level so good for people needing assistance (albeit the shower recess has a hob so not wheel chair friendly). There is parking directly outside the room. Each room appears to have a private patio at the rear. Ours in room #510 had a view over vines and the sunrise, so nice. The room was sizeable and comfy with a great A/C. The pool was great to cool off after very hot days. It was clean and cool. It’s 2m deep at one end so watch the little ones. Finally the Pub. Great crew servicing the bar and bistro. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Even the burly security guys were a great interaction when we got back from our day tour with sound advice on that night’s expected crowd and recommendations when to arrive for dinner. Much appreciated. The food was classic pub bistro but good, really good. We ate there the two nights we stayed. Recommend the pork belly (mains) and duck spring rolls (entre). We also had breakfast one morning which was plentiful ($25 full continental and a choice of a cooked meal included). $15 just for the continental.

The room space is awesome and spacious. There's bath tub, comfortable beds, fridge. Then the backyard opens up to the wine valley. It's a beautiful sight to be at and to wake up to. You can also see hot air balloon there. Location is just a drive from the hunter valley garden.
